Area not included

There has been several complaints from citizens that they are not able to report issues in their area/locality using FixOurCity. At a high-level below are couple of reasons for it.

1. Area/locality is not within Chennai corporation's limit. This can be verified using the Chennai corporation zone map. Currently, FixOurCity does not support registering complaints outside of the corporation limit since the issues can't be easily routed to authorities for taking action.
2. Currently, users can search for an area/locality using their ward names. Some areas/localities that are part of a ward or wards are made searchable by manually adding them to our system. We continue to do this based on complaints from citizens to make FixOurCity as comprehensive as possible.
   

Rejected complaints

Recently, we've been noticing a lot of complaints filed to the corporation were rejected without any substantiating reason. We've followed up with the corporation to provide appropriate reason when rejecting a complaint, to help everyone understand the rationale.
